Rose, past project

This has got to be one of my favorite projects, and it's got an idea or theme I'd like to revisit sometime. When I made it I was experimenting with the juxtaposition of styles and techniques. Sketchy graphite zentangle, against a  realistic watercolor/graphite image of a rose. It was a really challenging piece, but it turned out exactly as I'd hoped it would, which is a rare feat for me!!
